Coastal and Inland Waterways
Appleton Piling Ltd has gained an excellent reputation installing sheet piles in and adjacent to coastal and inland waterways across the United Kingdom.

We have carried out some very technically demanding schemes indirectly for the Environmental Agency and for local councils.
The two Kowan WP150 Still Worker Pile Presses and the Logicrane 55.38 55T capacity telescopic crawler crane operate using biodegradable hydraulic oil. This allows us to carry out sheet piling works adjacent to water courses giving our clients added confidence.
We have also utilised conventional installation methods using hydraulic impact and vibratory hammers operating with biodegradable hydraulic oil.
We have installed sheet piles to form temporary and permanent works, including permanent retaining walls, flood alleviation works, temporary retaining walls and temporary cofferdams.
